Great things are happening with FC Dallas at Toyota Stadium in Frisco! FC Dallas is a member of Major League Soccer since its inception in 1996. Our second professional team, North Texas SC won the championship its inaugural year in 2019. One of the first soccer-specific stadiums built in the United States, the venue plays host to Major League Soccer matches, concerts, international soccer matches and high school football. The 145-acre Toyota Soccer Center also includes 17 regulation-sized, tournament-grade soccer fields and is also home for the organization’s nationally renowned youth soccer development system. Toyota Stadium is the home of the National Soccer Hall of Fame, Soccer 90 and manages FC Dallas Performance Center and fields at MoneyGram Soccer Park in Dallas.
This is a Generalist position that manages the employment process for FC Dallas, Toyota Stadium, North Texas SC, National Soccer Hall of Fame, Soccer 90, FCD Performance Center and MoneyGram Soccer Park. Responsible for recruiting, identifying viable candidates, sourcing candidates, interviewing, selection and establishing external recruiting efforts. Knowledgeable and administration of benefits programs, employee relations, employee activities, coaching/counseling and training/on-boarding.
Manage the staffing guides per department budget; number of positions per department and maintain database of open and closed positions.
Maintain and further develop list of recruiting sources within the community, sports & entertainment venues and develop relationships with all levels of the education system.
Conduct Job Fairs on-site, at High Schools, colleges/universities, PTA’s, churches, community centers and participate in other organized metroplex Job Fairs
Post positions on media outlets and source applicants on ATS, QJumpers and refer viable candidates to hiring managers. Develop applicant flow strategy to facilitate hires in the departments.
Manage all on-boarding processes for all new hires, payroll administration and maintain company records.
Conduct Guest Services Training for all new hires and annual re-training.
Monitor staff behavior, proper uniforms and guest service delivery during stadium events which includes FC Dallas matches, concerts, International Soccer matches, music festivals, NCAA/ESPN Football games. Ensure compliance of established company policies and procedures.
Manage the disciplinary action process; address employee issues and concerns with Department Director/Supervisor. Participate in coaching and counseling sessions and employee separations.
Maintain all I-9’s in compliance with federal regulations.
Be a source and resource for information on FCD benefits, administer and develop policies and procedures for organization.
Participate and assist in execution of all FCD staff events, to include team building activities, holiday parties, open enrollment and benefits & wellness fairs.
Process TWC unemployment claims, participate and/or conduct hearings.
File Worker’s Comp claims.
Manage Internship program; posting, recruiting, sourcing and placement of 55+ Interns annually. Act as coordinator and supervisor for the HR interns for each semester. Facilitate onboarding and orientation for all interns.
Plan and execute monthly Intern networking events.
Work with Hiring Managers, FCD Management and legal department to update employee handbook, policies and procedures.
Initiate and review all background checks for all potential new hires, post-offer.
Perform all other duties as assigned
· Minimum of 5 years of Human Resources experience; supervisory experience preferred.
· Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Sports Management or related field or equivalent experience.
· Knowledge of principles and practices of human resources, including employment and labor laws.
· Experience with HRIS Database, ATS, ACA reporting
· Ability to communicate with all levels of employees and provide exceptional customer service.
· Ability to manage many projects and functions concurrently and autonomously.
· Proficiency in all Microsoft Office programs, to include Excel, Word, Outlook, Publisher, virtual platforms and PowerPoint.
· Retail/Hospitality/Sports experience preferred.
· Bilingual/Spanish speaking skills preferred.
