The Graphic Designer will work within the FC Dallas Marketing Department in the creation of content for FC Dallas and North Texas Soccer Club, concerts and events put on by Toyota Stadium, Toyota Soccer Complex, MoneyGram Soccer Park, Frisco Bowl and National Soccer Hall of Fame properties. Working under the direction of the Creative Manager, this designer will be responsible for supporting and helping shape the development of concepts, designs and production of a variety of sales projects relating to single-match sales, partial plans, group sales and season ticket memberships. Each candidate must provide an online design portfolio for review. Applications without a portfolio will not be considered.

Job Responsibilities:

-Conceptualize and produce sales creative across multiple media and messaging platforms— i.e. online, in-stadium, social media, outdoor, print, broadcast and more.

-Understand brand and campaign guidelines and the importance of utilizing them correctly.

-Superior interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external decision makers and influencers.

-Ensure all artwork produced meets the needs, requirements and brand standards of the organization and each client. 

-Ability to traffic work throughout organization and manage projects throughout the design process.

-Ability to work/communicate with outside vendors on collateral production. 

-Serve as a liaison effectively with clients and other team members.

-Able to receive and provide constructive feedback on all internal/external design projects.

-Support other graphic design projects as requested. 

-Ability to work all home matches, as well as other events as needed.

-All other duties as assigned.

Skills & Experience

Required Skills and Requirements:

-Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design or equivalent

-Minimum 3-5 years professional design experience

-Strong online portfolio 

-Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, and knowledge of the print production process

-Strong proficiency and knowledge of layout, print, prepress, digital, and typography fundamentals

-Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment, while maintaining a strong attention to detail

-Strong written and verbal communication skills

-Ability to work as part of a team in a creative environment

-Strong time management and multitasking skills

-Animation/Motion Graphics experience a plus

-Photography experience a plus

-Copywriting experience a plus

-Understanding of environmental graphics, signage production and materials a plus

-Ability to work nontraditional hours as needed
